Type SE XHHW Aluminum Cable (SER)
UL Type SE, Style R Aluminum Cable features UL Type XHHW aluminum conductors, rated 90°C for dry or wet locations and 600 V. It is suitable for above-ground service entrance cable, panel feeder, and branch circuit applications per NEC Article 338. Available in two, three, and four conductor configurations. The conductor is made of annealed compact stranded AA-8000 series Aluminum Conductor Material (ACM) with abrasion-, moisture-, and heat-resistant XLPE insulation. The cable includes a bare conductor, flame-retardant fiberglass-reinforced binder tape, and a sunlight-resistant, RoHS-compliant, flame-retardant gray PVC outer jacket.
