ARMORLITE TYPE MC THHN THWN CIRCUIT SIZE COPPER CONDUCTOR 120 208V COLORS
Southwire Armorlite® Type MC Cable is suitable for use as follows: This cable is suitable for branch and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential buildings. It can be fished or embedded in plaster and used in both concealed and exposed installations, as well as environmental air-handling spaces in accordance with NEC 300.22(C). It is suitable for places of assembly per NEC 518.4, theaters per NEC 520.5, and installation in cable trays and approved raceways. The cable may also be installed under raised floors for information technology equipment conductors and cables in accordance with NEC Article 645, including Class I Div. 2, Class II Div. 2, and Class III Div. 1 hazardous locations. A binder tape with a printed legend is wrapped around the assembly. The cable features Type THHN/THWN conductors rated 90°C dry, while unjacketed Type MC cables are rated for dry, indoor locations only per NEC 330.10(A)(10). An anti-short bushing is not required. -

BARE COPPER SOLID
Bare Copper conductors are primarily used for grounding purposes as specified in the National Electrical Code. Quarles Wire Bare Copper conductors are normally annealed (soft) copper, solid or stranded. Medium-hard drawn tempers are also available in solid and stranded. Sizes 14 thru 2 are available in solid. Sizes 8 thru 2 are available in 7 strand. Sizes 1 thru 4/0 are available in 7 strand and 19 strand. 250 MCM, 350 MCM, and 500 MCM are available in 37 strand only. 600 MCM and 750 MCM are available in 61 strand only. -

NM-B
Quarles Wire type NM-B are primarily used in residential building applications as specified by the National Electrical Code. Type NM-B is available in sizes ranging from #14 - #6 and constructions of 2 conductors with a ground and 3 conductors with a ground. The individual conductors are solid soft annealed copper with a PVC insulation and nylon jacket. The ground wire is a bare ground. The entire assembly is wrapped with a paper layer and PVC is applied to the outer jacket. Quarles Wire’s NM-B is manufactured to the recognized industry standard with a friction-reducing additive to aid in the installation process. -

THHN
Quarles Wire Type THHN or THWN-2 conductors are primarily used in conduit as branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications, as specified by the National Electric Code. Type AWM or MTW conductors are primarily used as appliance or machine tool wiring, as specified by the National Electric Code. Type THHN or THWN-2 are available stranded in sizes 14 awg - 750 kcmiL, and as solid in sizes 14-10 awg. Stranded sizes 14 awg - 750 kcmiL are also rated as AWM or MTW. The conductors are soft-annealed, stranded or solid copper and are insulated with a tough heat and moisture-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), over which a nylon (polymide) jacket is applied. Sizes 14-750 MCM are made with a friction-reducing nylon jacket to aid in the installation process. -

UF-B2 or 3
UF-B2 or 3 Conductor
Conductor construction is soft-drawn bare copper meeting the requirements of ASTM Specification B-3. Gauge sizes 14 through 10 are solid copper conductors. Sizes 8 through 6 are stranded conductors per ASTM B8. All ground wires are solid. The insulation is a color-coded THHN/THWN type for wet, dry, or corrosive applications of up to 600 volts and conductor temperatures up to 90° C. The outer jacket is a sunlight-resistant, high-quality polyvinylchloride (PVC). The UF-B 2 or 3 Conductor w/ground jacketed cable is constructed in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
